Non-matriculating status generally indicates that you are not seeking a degree from Oakland University. You will likely select non-matriculating on your application for undergraduate admission if you:

• 研究生d from high school and plan to enroll in another college or university the following fall. Note that you should consult with your intended college or university about whether Oakland courses will transfer, or whether taking courses prior to fall enrollment will impact your scholarship status.
• Are entering Oakland University as a freshman but taking summer courses before the fall semester.
• Are interested in participating in the American Semester Abroad Program (ASAP).
• Wish to audit an undergraduate course and have not earned a bachelor's degree. Students who already hold a bachelor's degree and wish to audit an undergraduate course should apply as a post-baccalaureate 学生.

Non-matriculating 学生s are limited to completing 12 credits in this status. Students who are currently enrolled in high school and who wish to take classes at OU should not complete an application for undergraduate admission. Instead, you should download and submit an application for 双录取.

Students who already hold a bachelor’s degree and who wish to take undergraduate classes at OU should apply as either a post-baccalaureate or second-degree seeking 学生. Students who already hold a bachelor's degree and wish to audit an undergraduate course should apply as a post-baccalaureate 学生.
