Our Mission:
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is dedicated to empowering individuals to acquire cutting-edge computing skills through hands-on education and innovative research. Our goal is to address real-world challenges in Michigan and beyond.

We aspire to be the premier destination for those in Michigan and beyond who seek to harness computing for the betterment of their communities.

Undergraduate Programs: We offer five separate undergraduate majors in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology and Cybersecurity.

Combined B.S./M.S. Programs: We offer six combined bachelor's/master's degrees that provide students with an opportunity to complete a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in less time that would be necessary if the two degrees were obtained independently. These combined programs create an integrated learning experience along several knowledge paths.
